Description
Printed copy of report titled, 'Proposal for an Intermediate Treatment Pilot Scheme at Oxford House', written by Judith S. Ramsey, Project Leader. The report is dated 22 February 1972. ""The aim of an Intermediate Treatment programme therefore becomes threefold: to furnish the courts and supervisors with alternative treatment programmes which, while they expose a child to the objectivity of a new setting, do not demand his total removal from family and familiar environment; to implement such a programme through the cooperative effort of the Social Servies and youth and educational projects in the communities; and, to provide the child with an environment in which he may work realistically to alleviate his distress and know of his worth as an individual and a member of society.""
